Ege University Campus Network consists of Gigabit-Ethernet backbone and has more than 11.000 clients connected in addition to various applications using information technologies.

Firewall to protect our clients from attacks coming via Internet, Intrusion Detection System, Email Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam.

Our students have access to laboratory and library services in campus via network.

Our clients initially contact with local system administrators for their network or system problems. For further info about local system administrators and access to them, please click http://nyg.ege.edu.tr/ysy.php. If the local system administrator cannot solve the problem, the client’s problem is escalated to the specialists in the faculties. If both the specialist and local system administrator fails to solve the client’s problem, the network administration group is informed. The Network Administration Group is only in contact with the local system administrators.
