Ege University Children´s Health Application and Research Hospital
The construction of the hospital is still ongoing since it´s laid the foundation in 1991. The hospital after its completion would be the biggest Children Hospital in Turkey with 400 bed capacity and 43.775 square meter indoor facilities. the nine blocs with 200 bed capacity have been already put into service by 2006. The construction of the operating rooms with 3375 square meter closed area is still in progress.

Student Village :
The two blocs of the Student Village (Ege University Dormitories) has been put into service by the academic year 2006-2007 on the University Campus. There are 190 single and double rooms on these blocs.Four more blocs are going to put into service and provide accommodation for more than 1000 students by the academic year 2007-2008. In each bloc of the Student Village there are leisure and study rooms and a laundry and a kitchen. Ege University Student village is equipped for satisfying all needs of the resident students with its cafeterias, social facilities and sporting fields.

Classrooms:
The classroom construction, which is still in progress in 18100 square meter are. was put out an open tender in 2005. The foundations and ground level substructures of three blocs has been completed by the year 2006. T he first bloc is going to be put into service by the academic year 2007-2008. It´s planned that the construction would be completed by the end of 2008. It´s been going on a hard working to complete the construction before the deadline 2008 and provide more healthier and convenient classrooms to Ege students.

Campus Infrastructure
The Campus and The Hospital Construction ,which was put out an open tender in 2005, includes a 38.888 square meter construction area.%95 of the Campus central heating infrastructure was transformed into natural gas heating system by the year 2006. It´s planned that the natural gas transformation and the University´s infrastructure such as tap water system, sewage,drainage, transformer station, energy, phone system, ring road and by-roads, landscaping of the Campus and the Hospital would be completed as to the plan of 2007 investments.By the year 2009, all rain water drainage system. underground water system, sewage system and all connection road construction would be completed.

Outdoor and Indoor Sports Complex:
The outdoor and Indoor sports complex construction was put out an open tender in 2005.By the year 2006,the Hospital´s and Campus´ dressing cabinets construction and rough construction work for Indoor Sports Hall were completed. The Indoor Sports Hall with 1000 spectacle capacity and 2400 square meter area has been almost completed. By July 2007, it would be put into full service.The Students´ Village Sports Complex and the renovation of five campus tennis courts, a sports hall with 500 spectacle capacity for Çeşme Vocational School, a football field (45x90 size) for Bergama Vocational School and basketball and volleyball courts to Campus would be completed within 2007. Apart from this, landscaping architectural work for Indoor Sports Hall would be completed as well.

Campus Connection Road (Underpass):
The underpass connection road´s construction between Ege University and the University Hospital has been started in 2007. The road would be 1 km long and two lane. Within the framework of same project,the construction of a pedestrian subway,( 20 meter long and 7 meter wide) beneath the college has been started by the cooperation of Bornova and Metropolitan Municipality on April 2007. By the completion of it, there would be all along the line transportation between Campus and the hospital and the highway.

Expansive Repair :
All repairs and renovations in the units of the Rectorate and Faculties, Schools. Vocational Schools, and the facilities Of the university in the peripherals of Izmir were completed at a ratio of % 90 in 2006.
